De film portretteert een Rotterdams eethuisje waar al 27 jaar Nederlandse klassiekers worden geserveerd, met eigenaren Martin en Bea en een trouwe klantenkring, terwijl ook toeristen massaal afkomen op hun gerechten. Gemaakt door filmmakers Anna Roza Hess en Sam Brinkman. Na de vertoning is er een Q&A met de filmmakers, gevolgd door een gezamenlijke filmanalyse met het publiek. Vervolgens geven Hess en Brinkman een workshop over verhaalstructuur, waarin ze uitleggen hoe je van een idee tot een uitgewerkt verhaal komt. Ervaar de bijzondere kunstvorm Miniatuurkunst met Sumeyra Evsen. Miniatuurkunst heeft een belangrijke plek in de Islamitische kunst en een lange traditie. Miniatuurs zijn de fijn bewerkte, kleine boekillustraties die zijn gemaakt om de in manuscripten beschreven gebeurtenissen te visualiseren. Op zondag 29 juni is de feestelijke opening van een bijzondere duo tentoonstelling met werk van Mirte van Kooten en Larissa Ambachtsheer! Mirte van Kooten is een nieuwe kunstenaar en we kijken ernaar uit haar binnenkort te vertegenwoordigen. Op deze dag lanceren wij haar werk in De Galerie en presenteren we voor het eerst haar unieke akoestische wandkunst van textiel. Haar werk wordt gekenmerkt door een grafische visuele taal met abstracte vormen en strakke lijnen, waarmee ze een balans zoekt tussen helderheid en dynamiek. Larissa Ambachtsheer, wiens fotografiewerk wij al met trots vertegenwoordigen, toont deze keer voor het eerst haar collectie schilderijen en tekeningen in combinatie met haar fotografiewerk.
