Hello again! Happy New year to everyone! We invite you all to come enjoy Peng Chau island and our next movie night this Sunday 12st January. We will continue watching movies from Southern Europe. This time the country is Greece and the movie is called 'Μια αιωνιότητα και μια μέρα' or 'Eternity and a Day' (1998) from the director Theo Angelopoulos. The movie is an exploration on the meaning of life when one knows there is little time left. The movie will have English subtitles. Is the first time watching a movie with Greek language, so come and enjoy! This time we will also play board games starting at 4pm and ending close to the start of the movie at 6:50pm. We have many games but we thought to start first with Dixit, continue with Splendor and finishing with Pandemic. If you are joining us for the games you can arrive earlier and message me to my IG @agus.spanish. We will start the movie at 7pm till 9pm in a terrace in Peng Chau. There is a ferry at 5:50pm from Central Pier N6 and arrives in Peng Chau at 6:30pm. My place is very close to the pier. I can meet people at the pier at 6:30pm. Or if you want to spend the day in Peng Chau and meet each other afterwards that's also fine! Please let me know if you are coming beforehand so we can prepare for us to meet and take you to the address. We want to encourage discussion about the movie and its theme afterwards. We will prepare some questions so we can debate about it together! You can bring your own food too. 《聲景步⾏與視覺創作》⼯作坊 “Sound Walk at the Present” Workshop 聲景步行是隨當代聲音藝術發展而產生的感知經驗與行為，目的是探索聆聽本質及重新打開聽覺感知，專注視覺、聲音與個人的連結。從個人對日常聲音的經驗出發，走到自然和城市中，分辨平時很容易忽略的環境與空間的無序聲音，再將聲音化為視覺符號或詩詞文字，運用想像力發展成一首詩或是畫作，發展別樹一格的藝術創作技巧！視覺轉化過程是聆聽的延伸，聲音會由客觀的存在，內化為帶有個性的符號，抽象或具象的概念和符號成為創作來源，讓詩意流入想像的藍圖，轉化為可視的表達。 藉著活動，參加者會漫步深水埗嘉頓山與美荷樓附近，體驗環境空間存在的各種聲音，體驗深度傾聽，探索城市與自然環境中的各種聲音，尋找地方與環境容易忽略的符號，以此為創作題材，運用創意書寫或繪畫出富詩意的聲音記譜和現代詩作。活動分別在室內及戶外進⾏，首先於活動室內，以講述及熱身遊戲帶領參加者認識聲音藝術概念、符號的轉化及視覺文字創作，然後帶領學生走出活動室到社區和大自然中，於過程中蒐集獨特的錄音及視覺素材。最後，運用「符號」及步行經驗的感受轉化為紙上的文字或藝術創作。 活動詳情 日期：2025/01/17 （星期五）時間： 1600 - 1830地點：九龍深水埗美荷樓地下多功能活動室 及 嘉頓山丘或白田街社區導師：黃海恆先生及周姍祐小姐 （Uonler Project）(*活動受香港藝術發展局（Hong Kong Arts Development Council）資助) 特別天氣狀況安排： 驟雨：若下驟雨，聲景步行體驗將改為在白田行社區進行，創作活動將會留在室內美荷樓多功能活動室進行。暴雨及雷暴：若當日暴雨及雷暴警告在活動前一小時仍生效，當日工作坊將會取消。懸掛三號及八號風球：若活動開始前一小時仍懸掛三號及八號風球，當日工作坊將會取消。 Information Source: Uonler Project | eventbrite

Тайны модных домов - это рассказ о том, как великие кутюрье творили моду и что в ней происходит сейчас. Судьбы Кристиана Диора, Коко Шанель, Джанни Версаче, Ив Сен Лорана и других связаны с судьбой эпохи, атмосферу которой они творили в своих ателье. Они были в первую очередь людьми искусства, и лишь потом - коммерсантами. А что происходит сейчас? На основании каких законов и тенденций, каких течений и каких денег существует современная модная индустрия? Что скрывается за интригами и мифами, окружающими имена великих модельеров? И почему великими становятся и остаются? Религия, политика, сексуальность, национальность, климат - важные составляющие развития моды как зеркала истории. Что такое дресс-код и власть в моде? Александр Васильев - историк моды с мировым именем, коллекционер, театральный художник, сценограф, автор более 30-ти книг, психоаналитик, лектор, ведущий одной из самых высокорейтинговых ТВ передач “Модный Приговор”. Александр Васильев награждён медалью С. П. Дягилева, медалью В. Нижинского, орденом «Меценат», Золотой медалью Академии художеств России. Дважды является лауреатом премии «Тобаб» в Турции. Был представлен в номинации «Легенда моды» на World Fashion Awards в 2010 году. В 2011 году Васильеву была присуждена премия «Народное признание». В 2011 году Васильев стал почетным членом Российской академии художеств. A. Васильев -владелец одной из крупнейших в мире частных коллекций русских исторических костюмов. Александр является автором книги «Красота в изгнании», признанной лучшей иллюстрированной книгой 1998 года, а также редактором разделов журналов VOGUE и Harper's Bazaar.
