Join Carmel Page, a renowned storyteller, at the captivating event "Storytelling Skills - Time to Tell" in Sheffield City Centre. This friendly and interactive event is designed to help you master the art of storytelling. Practice, practice, practice is key to becoming a skilled storyteller, and this event offers the perfect opportunity to hone your skills. During the session, six individuals will have the chance to take the stage for fifteen minutes each. They can share their stories and receive valuable feedback and advice from Carmel and the audience. If you prefer, you can simply tell your story and receive applause, or you can ask specific questions about your performance. The audience is encouraged to reflect on the stories and provide comments that will benefit the tellers. Please note that this event focuses on oral storytelling and not creative writing. However, if you wish to use notes, that is not a problem. Even if you don't plan to tell a story, there are still four tickets available for those who want to come and listen. You'll learn just as much from listening to other storytellers as you will from sharing your own. Carmel Page is passionate about storytelling and has performed in various settings, from large museums to intimate gatherings. Her expertise and experience will help you gain the skills and confidence you need to become a master storyteller. Don't miss this opportunity to fill the land with captivating stories. Feedback from previous Storytelling Skills sessions has been overwhelmingly positive, with participants praising the understanding of plotting, the fresh perspective it brought to their own stories, and the helpful advice provided. This event promises to be a great couple of hours exploring the art of storytelling. Mark your calendars for the Storytelling Skills - Time to Tell event on February 24, 2024, at the 14 Orchard Square venue in Sheffield City Centre. Tickets are priced at £11.55 - £13.70. Don't miss out on this enriching experience.
