These fortnightly sessions, running from 10am to 12pm, are suitable for individuals aged 4 to 17. Participants can enjoy a variety of activities, including soft archery, new age curling, racket and ball sports, bowling, football, dodgeball, as well as arts/crafts and board games. To ensure that everyone can fully participate and have a great time, the activities are adapted to cater to different ages and ability levels. It's important to note that the Activity Hub sessions are no longer funded through Cheshire East Short Break funding and are now a chargeable activity. The cost per person is £4. However, the Ability for All program from Everybody Health & Leisure offers inclusive activities for individuals with impairments or additional support needs in Cheshire East. Join the Vamoosh and Cello Orchestra Play Day in London on Sunday, February 4th, 2024. This exciting event, held at West Hill Primary School, Wandsworth, SW18, is organized by Our Cello Community. Renowned music educator Thomas Gregory, creator of the popular 'Vamoosh' series for young string players, will be leading the Senior event. Participants will have the opportunity to play in a cello orchestra, with parts available for different levels, from grade 2 reading level to advanced students working at grade 8 and beyond. For the Junior event, Helen Neilson, a Suzuki cello teacher trained to level 5 and Head of Strings at Latymer Upper School, will be leading the activities. This event is suitable for early stage beginners up to approximately grade 2 level. No reading experience is required for the Junior event, as all pieces will be taught by ear. Parents and friends are welcome to attend the concert from 2.45 - 3.15pm. Tickets are priced at £42 for Seniors and £21 for Juniors. Applications close on January 27th, 2024, at 5pm.
