Raising children glued to screens or dealing with rebellious teens?
If you’ve tried everything and still feel stuck, spare an hour to hear us out—you might discover new solutions.

Speaker:
Mr Jereme Wong
graduated as an engineer and believes that everything must be proven by numbers and science. Skeptical of religion and doubtful that relying on the divine can solve life’s challenges, he was unexpectedly “tricked” by his mother into exploring Buddhism. Over the past 14 years, Jereme has realised that Buddhism is not only logical but also offers mental frameworks that help young people think critically and address life’s complexities. Embracing Buddhism as a practical way of life, he now encourages his family to adopt its principles.

SSF (Season 2) - Tour C [Haunting Tales of Ubin] | Changi Point Ferry Terminal
Jun 14, 2025 (UTC+8)
Singapore
Haunting Tales of Ubin
An After-Dark Walking Tour into the Paranormal Heart of the Island
Step off the mainland and into the mists of time as you join us for Haunting Tales of Ubin—a walking tour like no other. As the sun sets over Pulau Ubin and the last ferry pulls away, a different world awakens. In the stillness of night, the air grows heavy with whispers from the past.
This immersive journey takes you through the dimly lit trails and forgotten corners of Ubin’s town centre, where unexplained encounters have left their mark. Hear chilling accounts of spectral getai singers, said to be heard long after the last note fades. Discover stories of deities seen walking temple grounds under the moonlight—guardians, perhaps, or something else entirely. And uncover urban legends passed down through hushed voices, stretching back over a century.
Once a vibrant kampong filled with superstition and spiritual reverence, Ubin remains one of the last frontiers of Singapore where the line between the living and the dead is said to be thinner. While the city races ahead in steel and glass, here, memories linger—both the cherished and the cursed.
Led by a storyteller who has gathered tales not found in books or online, this tour blends historical context with first-hand paranormal accounts. You’ll be transported to a time when the unexplained was part of daily life, and no tale was told without a warning.
Come with an open mind—and perhaps a silent prayer. On Ubin, when night falls, the spirits stir.

SSF (Season 2) - Tour B [Siglap Lost in Time ] | Marine Terrace MRT Station (TE27)
Jun 14, 2025 (UTC+8)
Singapore
Siglap Lost in Time
Where echoes of the past whisper through the veil of the present.
This 90-minute morning walking tour takes you through one of Singapore’s most storied and spiritual neighborhoods—Siglap. From colonial footsteps to spectral encounters, you’ll be immersed in a journey that weaves history with haunting.
We begin at Marine Terrace MRT Station, setting the stage with chilling tales from St. Patrick’s School, where generations of students have whispered of phantom footsteps, locked doors swinging open on their own, and the solemn echo of old spirits still keeping vigil. As we walk toward the nearby cluster of five-storey HDB flats, you’ll hear accounts of suicides, mysterious knocks at night, and ghostly figures seen standing by the corridors—stories shared by former residents themselves.
Our path leads to Kubor Kassim, one of Singapore’s most active cemeteries. Amidst graves dating back over a century lie stories of restless spirits, ritual offerings, and sightings of shadowy figures that vanish when approached. We’ll also stop by the keramat of Tok Lassam, a sacred site steeped in mystery and reverence, where the veil between this world and the next feels especially thin.
By the time we return to our starting point, you’ll leave with more than just stories—you’ll carry with you the lingering feeling that Siglap is a place where the past never truly dies.
