Datong Street

Datong Street is the most representative commercial old street in Chikan Commercial Building. In the old street less than 200 meters long and only more than 5 meters wide, you can still see the old blue stone paved road, the shops built in the Qing Dynasty and the ancient pier site of the ladder-stepped pier leading to the bay. The reason why Datong Street became the earliest commercial old street in Chikan is mainly because of its unique geographical location. There are six of the ten ancient pier sites in Chikan Shangyu. The current northwest starting point is the earliest "old ferry".

Chikan Datong Street is one of the oldest commercial streets in Zhanjiang. It is connected to the ancient Du Street, the oldest street in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province.
