Street South Bookstore is located on Dongguan Street, Yangzhou. The Ma brothers from Anhui were built during the Kangxi period. The Ma brothers are salt merchants, but they are quite cultural and have many books. They often entertain literati and cook wine and talk about history.

There are twelve views in the South Street Bookstore, namely Xiaolinglong Mountain Hall, Seeing Mountain Building, Hongyao Step, Breathing Moon Liangmingxuan, Stone House, Qingxiang Pavilion, Fujihuaxuan, Congshulou, Miguelang, Powder Well, Qifeng Caoting, Meiyan.

The three major gardens in Yangzhou in the early Qing Dynasty were the Street South Bookstore, Kangshan Caotang and Love Garden. At that time, there was no garden and Heyuan! Nanshuzhai used to be the housing garden landscape of Ma's salt merchants, and now it is opened as a 24-hour "urban study".

The mountain hall Linglong water stone clear, the Lijiang River here is the most famous, the famous poet of the Qing Dynasty Yuan Mu once wrote poetry for the small Linglong Mountain Hall, so the bookstore is also called the small Linglong Mountain Hall.
