The Catholic Church with a history of more than 100 years is located at No. 22 Tongren Road, Shamian (now No. 14, Shamian Street), Guangzhou. A Notre Dame Mountain was built in the south, and the statue of Our Lady of Lourdes was placed on the mountain, hence the name of the church. This church is a typical French Gothic architecture. The appearance is relatively simple, without cumbersome decorative lines, statues, shrines, etc. But because it retains the main features of the Gothic church, it is magnificent. There is a bell tower at the south end of the church. The tower body is exquisite in shape, and the red tower top which is rich in decoration looks tall, straight and steep. On the spire of the bell tower, there are many green glazed bricks inlaid on several ribs for decoration, which is where the whole building looks very light. There is a transparent door at the bottom of the tower, which is the entrance hall of the church. The top of the doorway is a pointed coupon, and there is a circular rose window symbolizing heaven above the door.
