Church of Our Lady of Lourdes Review

Built in 1890, typical Gothic style. The church was originally set up for religious life for the French consulate. A mountain of Notre Dame is built south of the garden and the statue of Notre Dame is placed. It is now a key cultural relics protection unit in the country.

Notre Dame Lude, a Catholic church on the Shamian Island in Liwan District, Guangzhou, has two Catholic churches in Guangzhou, one is the Sacred Heart Cathedral on Yide Road, or called the Stone Room, and the other is the Notre Dame Lude on Shamian Island. The scale of this church is not very large. It is a mini version of Gothic architecture, but there are still a lot of finely carved interiors, which are worth a look.

Shamian Island and the nearby West Dike Pier are a region full of European customs. This is an early concession, consulate area, and customs site, so there are a lot of European buildings built here, and now the whole area has been preserved and revitalized, and there are two famous churches. The Loud Hall and the Shamian Hall, respectively, are a very beautiful and charming island.

露德天主教圣母堂属于法租界内的建筑，原名沙面天主堂，因该堂花园南边原建筑一座圣母山，安放露得圣母像而得名。是法国驻穗领事馆的教友过宗教生活而设立的。该教堂位于沙面大街与沙面一街交界的东北转角。由大堂，神父楼、修女楼、圣母山组成，大堂在前，神父楼在后偏东，修女楼在后偏西，圣母山在大堂偏东。现有附属建筑二幢，一幢为两层楼房，一幢为平房。教堂基本保存完好。立面主要门窗的山尖和塔楼四角的小尖塔，八角形攒尖顶上复杂的采光窗和棱垛，还有下连续的小尖拱和由上向下授粉的扶壁柱。反映出天主教堂神秘而向往“天国”的特征。

露德圣母堂，是广州市荔湾区沙面岛里面的一座天主教教堂，这座教堂的规模不算很大，但整座建筑非常小巧精致，是典型的哥特式建筑风格，其色调与沙面岛的欧式建筑很协调，在蓝天的映照下十分漂亮，从地铁文化公园站或者黄沙站过来都非常方便的。
