Fuzhou Chating Park

The characteristic of Chating Park is a lake. The main garden landscape is also around the lake. There are various lotus plants in the lake. It is a good time to see it in summer. The park is not big, and it takes about half an hour to walk around. This area is more lively.

According to the ancient books, this was the only place to enter the city from Taijiang River. Later, a monk saw that the road was not good. The pedestrians were muddy on rainy days and sweated on sunny days. It was very hard. He raised some funds to set up a tea pavilion here, and provided tea for free for the past pedestrians, so that everyone could rest.

The famous commercial street of Fuzhou, from Yangtoukou to Nanmendou, was formed. In the 1980s, the municipal committee and the municipal government built a park on the side of Chating Street in order to enable citizens to have an elegant place to rest in the bustling city center.

The original area of Chating Park is 50 mu, of which the water area is 30 mu. The park has planted a variety of expensive lotus, water lily, Wanglian and more than 100 kinds. Since 1998, the lotus exhibition is held every June to October, making the park a famous lotus theme park in the province and abroad.

On the way back to the hotel from Shangxiahang, I was attracted by the name of the tea pavilion park by chance. After I walked in, I found that it was a good place to enjoy the lotus. There were lotus flowers everywhere, and there was a famous Wang Lian that only bloomed for three days at night. The elegant and sparse lotus adds the existence of Chating Park. Chating Park is a city park with a good location, close to Wuyi Square and Shangxiahang, within walking distance. There is also a bus that can go directly to Chating Park. The park is full of antique buildings, small bridges, lotus flowers, pavilions, promenades, and elegant buildings of various courtyards. At night, the tea pavilion company is full of local people jogging, and there are many elders enjoying the lotus, which is very enthusiastic. There are many exits of the tea pavilion company and many resting places. It is a good place for leisure.
