Stone Moon Viewing Platform

The stone moon, as the saying goes, "ten (stone) moon nine do not meet", because the peaks often cloud and mist, not easy to see clearly, it is said that you can see a complete "round moon" like today, it is considered a success. Of course, some people have taken photos under the blue sky and white clouds, and it is so happy. There are mountain roads to reach the round hole of the "stone moon". The steps are well repaired, but they are more than ten kilometers long. It is said that the "love vow" of the person who arrived will be complete.

In Fugong County, on the west bank of the Nu River, in the middle section of Gaoligong Mountain, more than 3,360 meters above sea level, a towering mountain peak, formed by marble karst erosion, passed through the stone, more than 40 meters wide, up to 60 meters, shaped like a huge ball, slang called it "Ahaba", meaning the stone moon. The stone moon is surrounded by cliffs, unfathomable, there are three ancient dead trees in front, the top of the mountain wind blows, standing on the foot of the mountain, the Nu River is flowing at the foot, and the Biluo Snow Mountain is silently opposite to the east. This rugged mountain road, or only with courage, perseverance and persistence, can be reached through the wind and rain, so for a long time, how many young couples of the Yi people also regarded this place as a confession of love, "if you love me, take me to the top of the mountain", in the moon stone to express loyalty. In recent years, Fugong County has built a stone moon mountaineering trail, starting from the Nujiang River East Bank of Shimoon Township, the trail is13.4 kilometers long, the unilateral long line is 9 kilometers, and the short line is 7 kilometers. The natural scenery along the way is beautiful, the ethnic customs are strong, and the geological conditions are good. It is a mature mountaineering route.

Old Mden Village is located on a gentle slope between the mountainside of Biluo Snow Mountain, with a basically trapezoidal settlement. There is an observation deck in the old Mden Village, standing on the observation deck to enjoy the magnificent beauty of Crown Mountain. A man sits quietly on the top of the mountain, overlooking the misty village at his feet, and the Nujiang Canyon looming in the distance, like a pair of wings, flying into the sky to overlook the earth. The village 150 inn has a dog, extremely smart, it knows where tourists are going, will take you to church, observation deck.

The round hole between the boulders overlooking the top of the mountain is really like a full moon hanging in the sky, which is the impression of the tourists on a sunny day, the day is cloudy, the mist is lightly covered, and the long-focus lens captures the faint outline. The Nu River flows from the observation deck to the foot of Shimoon Mountain. The village houses on the right bank are halfway up the mountain. The wooden houses on both sides of the observation deck are places to sell Dai costumes and tourism supplies. Occasionally, the euphemistic music of the Yi nationality floats out of the wooden house. The women in Yi costumes look at each other with tourists. Smiling, this is a beautiful place.

Fugong stone moon is a great wonder in the valley, from the road, the peaks can clearly see a round of garden moon. In fact, this is a rock peak of Gaoligong Mountain opened a large vertical elliptical hole about 100 meters high and 45 meters in diameter, you can see the sky on the back of the mountain.
