M47***11:“Highly recommended. This truly pristine park, free of artificial planting or captivity, is extremely beneficial for the conservation of wild Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys. Visitors are limited in their area, but I believe this is exactly what a national protected area should be. Other attempts to expand the tourist area for the sake of development are irresponsible.
The Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys are incredibly adorable and lively. I hope they can live here forever.
This place is not suitable for the elderly or those with mobility issues. After the sightseeing bus, you have to walk up a steep dirt road for about 10 minutes. And be sure to arrive early, entering the park at 8:30 AM and arriving at the monkey viewing spot around 9:00 AM, as the monkeys are at their most active at this time.”

Tongle Village is located in a corner of Yezhi Town, Weixi Lisu Autonomous County, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Located at the "Three Parallel Rivers", it is the most ethnically distinctive and best-preserved Lisu village in Weixi County and even in the world.”
天边的海999:“The Bodhidharma Cave is also known as the Bodhidharma Mountain. There is a huge rock cliff on the top of the mountain, and the Bodhidharma Cave is located on the cliff. The main hall of the Bodhidharma Cave houses statues of Sakyamuni, Padmasambhava, Tsongkhapa, and the founders of the Drikung Kagyu and Karma Kagyu sects. It also houses the holy relics of Bodhidharma, the stupa of Bodhidharma's relics, and the stupa of Bodhidharma's disciples.”
两个待业设计师的旅行:“The lama took a group of chuemu in the happy production of Tibetan incense, and talked with the lama for a while. He took me to see the ancient murals in the temple. Although the light in the temple was dim, I could see the content of the murals and the exquisite use of color and pen. I have seen the ancient murals and walked around the temple. The new murals are being repaired and the wall is added. I have to say that the administrator of this temple is aesthetic online. The whole of the temple after the renovation is solemn and magnificent, the murals are rich and vivid, and the portrait is solemn and solemn. It is worth visiting. ✅”
M55***71:“I went to Lijiang specifically to see the Blue Moon Valley. It was so beautiful that I was amazed. I could take a lot of pictures at once. I wanted to go to Yunshanping but unfortunately I didn’t buy the cable car ticket. Without the cable car ticket, I couldn’t go to Yunshanping. I will come again when I have the chance.”

"Here the river turns its course, rushing into the vast expanse of the Central Plains." Only when I stood before Tiger Leaping Gorge did I truly appreciate the majestic power captured by this poem. This trip to Tiger Leaping Gorge completely exceeded my imagination and is absolutely worth a voyage!
🚗Transportation: I drove from Lijiang, which took about two hours. The scenery along the way was picturesque, the roads were good, and navigation was easy to use. The advantage of driving yourself is that you have the freedom to arrange your time. Of course, you can also take a shuttle bus from Lijiang or Shangri-La and then rent or charter a car to visit the various attractions. Transportation is still very convenient.
🎫Tickets: The tickets are quite reasonable. I bought them through a Douyin group tour. The value for money is excellent, and the scenery is absolutely worth it!
🌅Experience: Entering Tiger Leaping Gorge is like entering a mysterious world forgotten by time. The river roars like a galloping horse, the deafening roar of the waves telling a story that stretches back thousands of years. The entire walking path takes about 1.5 hours to complete. Non-slip shoes are recommended, as some sections are quite steep. Along the way, every turn and every viewpoint offers a breathtakingly different view. Standing by the river, feeling the powerful impact of the rushing water, the feeling of being in touch with nature is truly indescribable. If walking the path is too tiring, you can take the elevator directly to the river for 35 yuan, but I think walking the path offers a better experience of Tiger Leaping Gorge's charm.
🍱Food: After your visit, be sure to try the Tibetan fragrant pork hot pot at a restaurant near the scenic area. The meat is tender and paired with wild mountain vegetables—it's simply delicious! Their barley pancakes are also crispy and delicious, leaving you with a lasting impression.
🏠Accommodation: I chose to stay at the Tiger Leaping Gorge Inn, located near Tiger Leaping Gorge. The view was unobstructed, offering panoramic views of the canyon. The room was clean and comfortable, and the owner was very friendly and offered hiking tips. I especially recommend their breakfast—simple yet authentic, it left me feeling energized for a full day of hiking.
This trip to Tiger Leaping Gorge not only allowed me to admire the wonders of nature but also to experience its power and charm. If you love nature and enjoy challenging yourself, Tiger Leaping Gorge is definitely the perfect choice for you! I highly recommend it to everyone!”
Anonymous user:“Lugu Lake is beautiful, but the entrance fee is inexplicable. There are said to be many ways to evade the entrance fee, so why do they charge it? What kind of service does the scenic spot provide for the 70 yuan? None. Cars are parked randomly, there are no parking spaces, and garbage is left everywhere. Don't waste such a beautiful natural resource. And all other attractions still require separate tickets.”

Anonymous user:“The scenery is beautiful. There are three attractions in total. The first one is a hike in the mountains and forests. It is recommended to skip the first one and save your energy for the second and third ones. The second one costs 68 yuan per person. There are little squirrels on the forest trail and they will ask for food. You should prepare some in advance (original flavor). The third one has a wide meadow and lake, where cattle and horses graze leisurely. The scenery is very beautiful.”
木果默默:“320 yuan is not really worth it. There are two roads, one of which is a shortcut and the signs are not clear. It is full of selling things, but many of them are not used at the top of the mountain. The management is chaotic and the attitude is bad.”

Tim from Belgium:“The hotel is very good. Comfortable room, warm and convenient. Staff is very kind and helpful, they have a great breakfast. Perfect stay to see the Yunnan golden snub-nose monkey. The owner can take you there for a tiny fee.”
Guest User:“I had such a great stay in Tacheng, thanks to the hotel’s owner!
When I planned my Yunnan trip and asked AI to help me (because of the lack of online information in English), and it recommended me to go to Tacheng to see the snub-nosed monkeys, little did I know that nothing could be done there without a car.
Fellow travelers, just so you know: there are no bus stations nor taxis in Tacheng. I of course only realized it once I arrived. I felt dumb (no I do not have a car nor a driver), but the hotel’s owner was super kind and gave my friend and I free roundtrip rides, to the hotel and in the early morning to the Snub-nosed Monkey Park (that is closeby).
Because the closest restaurant was 42 km away, we were given a generous and delicious dinner. (It was supposed to be 50 rmb but at the end the boss made it free.) I’m vegetarian and the boss accommodated me. The breakfast, that was included in the price, was also generous and delicious.
As for the hotel, it was beautiful and comfortable. There’s a really nice living room (we were given free fruits and free beer!) and a really nice patio as well. The room was clean, the pillows were so soft and the shower was surprisingly techno. I slept very well, even though a rooster started to crow in the early morning (so remember to close the window before going to sleep). In the evening, we walked in the surroundings and I liked it so much, it was picturesque and peaceful.
My stay in Tacheng could’ve been a nightmare but thanks to the hotel’s owner, I really enjoyed it (and I got to see the famous snub-nosed monkeys!) So I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, where I didn’t expect so much kindness and generosity.”
Guest User:“We had a great stay at this family-fun guesthouse (we are a family of three, travelling with a 3-year-old). The owners were super-friendly and very generous - they offered us complimentary fruit, including watermelon from their own field behind, wild honey, and even cooked some wild mushrooms that we had picked in the woods for us (after double-checking that they were edible!)
The guestrooms are clean, light, comfortable and spacious - and there is air conditioning available in case it's slightly warmer in the summer months. The mattresses were also fairly comfortable.
The location is great - next to a river, about a 10-minute drive up from Tacheng Town. This makes getting to the monkey reserve and Damozushi Temple (the main attractions) more convenient.
On the food side, the breakfast was hearty to the extreme and varied from day to day, with various local specialties including local ******* Yak Butter Tea. Pretty much everything was homemade. You can also eat there in the evenings to avoid driving to town - and the lady that runs it is a great cook.
Other pros include the lovely decking by the river and the walkway that the village has developed along the river bank - perfect for a morning/evening stroll, or in our case, taking our little one for a spin on her balance bike.
We live in Lijiang, so not too far away - and will definitely be coming back to stay here again.
滇国剑客:“Sisters Restaurant, the name itself has a special meaning. The restaurant was opened by two sisters with the same aspirations, so the food they prepare tastes different and is highly praised by all the guests.”
滇国剑客:“Dali is a place that people yearn for, with beautiful scenery, beautiful mountains and beautiful waters. The special food of Dali Xizhou Hui Hotel is displayed there, which makes people want to go there and take a bite.”
