Quanzhou Useful Guide

1. Airplane Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport is the main airport in Quanzhou, located about 12 kilometers from the city center. It offers numerous domestic flights connecting major cities, as well as some international flights. How to get from the airport to the city center Bus: Currently, there are 12 bus routes passing through the airport or the intersection of Heping Middle Road and the airport. You can choose the appropriate bus based on your itinerary. For example, to get to West Street, you can take bus K602. Taxi/Ride-hailing service: The taxi/ride-hailing pick-up point is located on the lane next to the station square. Domestic arrival passengers can take the escalator from the first basement level of the domestic arrival area to the taxi pick-up point. International arrival passengers need to walk through Gate 3 to reach the pick-up point. 2. Train There are three high-speed railway stations in Quanzhou, namely Quanzhou Station, Quanzhou South Station, and Quanzhou East Station. It is generally recommended to choose Quanzhou Station or Quanzhou East Station when traveling to the city center of Quanzhou, as these stations offer more convenient transportation and a richer network of surrounding bus routes. Quanzhou Station Located in Quanzhou's Fengze District, it is one of the main passenger stations on the Fuzhou-Xiamen Railway. This is close to the ancient city of Quanzhou, and tourists can take buses such as No.3, No.17, K1, and K602 to quickly reach the city center or scenic spots. The station is only about a 12-minute drive from the Qingyuan Mountain Scenic Area, and there are also famous attractions such as Kaiyuan Temple and Bell Tower in the surrounding area, making it convenient for tourists to travel to the ancient city of Quanzhou. Quanzhou East Station Located in Quanzhou's Dongyuan Town, the station is about 21 kilometers away from the city center. You can take K501, K508 and other buses to reach the city center. Surrounded by natural beaches such as Yushawan, Moon Bay, and Guishan Bay, as well as famous attractions such as Xiaozuo Windmill Island and Chongwu Ancient Town, it is very suitable for tourists traveling to the seaside. Quanzhou South Station Quanzhou South Station is located in Jinjiang's Yonghe Town, and is an important transportation facility for the "one-hour living circle" of Fuzhou and Xiamen, as well as the "half-hour transportation circle" of Xiamen, Zhangzhou, and Quanzhou. This station is relatively far from the central city, so fewer tourists choose to depart from here. However, it connects the Jinjiang High-Speed Rail New Area and Shishi City, making it convenient for tourists traveling to Jinjiang and Shishi. Nearby attractions include the Wulin Traditional Village, Wudian Traditional Culture Tourism Zone, Anping Bridge, and Hongta Bay.

Quanzhou's iconic scenery is worth seeing. The ticket is a bit expensive. Laojunyan is close to the mountain gate. There are many other mountain rock temples and other scenery. You can choose according to your own physical time and money. There is no cable car, but you can take the scenic bus. Some mountain roads are difficult to walk

Ziyunping: Located at the southern end of Kaiyuan Temple, it is a photo wall, the wall is embedded in the lishu "Ziyunping" stone carving, written by the famous calligrapher Chen Yuwang Yuming Wanli in the Ming Dynasty in four years (1576). Temple of Heavenly King: The mountain gate of Kaiyuan Temple was built in Tang Chui Arch for three years, and the top of the mountain is single. The stone pillars are thick and spun-shaped, with Tang Dynasty style, and the raspberry-shaped pillars are the characteristics of the Song Dynasty. On the stone pillars are the pairs written by Zhu Ying and written by Yuan Yi, "This place is called Buddha's country in ancient times, and the streets are full of saints." Byting: connecting the Temple of Heavenly Kings and the Palace of Daxiong, with an area of 2,800 square meters and a promenade on both wings. On both sides are the Doroni Jing Building, the Badger Blocking Wave Tower, and the Baodi Printing Tower, mostly built in the 1st century, witnessing the convergence of Quanzhou multiculturalism

Quanzhou Shaolin Temple is very large, the building is very magnificent, and the scenery is beautiful. The most worthy question is its vegetarian buffet. There are many types. My husband has been not used to eating in Fujian these days. Today, I feel very happy to eat this 🤭.

West Street

The tour route starts from the clock tower, walk slowly along West Street, and visit the specialty shops and monuments along the way. You can go to the Berry Super Crazy rooftop No. 1 store to take pictures, then go to the coffee, and then go to the West Street Tourist Service Center. Then go to Kaiyuan Temple and feel the charm of the millennium ancient temple. Taste specialties nearby at noon, continue to shuttle in the alleys of West Street in the afternoon, and enjoy the ancient buildings, wooden buildings and other buildings. At night, you can enjoy the night view of West Street and experience the lively night market atmosphere. Kaiyuan Temple: It is an iconic attraction in Quanzhou. Berry Super Crazy Tiantai No. 1 Store: The rooftop can take pictures of the beautiful seats of Kaiyuan Temple. There is a cup of coffee: You can also take pictures on the rooftop, but you need to consume it. The seat is similar to the berry super crazy. West Street Visitor Service Center: You can buy special cultural and creative products.

Jinjiang Wudianshi Traditional Blocks

Very close to the airport, the airport stores luggage, there are several buses to arrive. No charge, it is an old house, all changed to shops, restaurants and homestays, surrounded by high-rise buildings. The block looks not too big, but the streets and alleys inside are crisscrossing. If you want to go shopping in every street, take pictures and rest your legs for 3 hours.

Quanzhou String Puppet Show

avatar
没有刻度的尺
This price includes tea and a box of snacks. There are two types of actual performances, the line puppet + palm puppet (cloth bag drama). The puppet drama is not long, not the whole play or a complete fold; that is, watching a lively, there is an understanding. Watch the performance, you can interact with the puppet, try to experience it yourself, and you can also roll a dice and draw small prizes (see luck). The overall explanation and service are still very Nice!

Chongwu Ancient Town

avatar
山在穷游
Before I came to Chongwu Ancient City, I was quite looking forward to it, but after I came here, I found that it made the same mistake as Datong Ancient City, that is, the ancient city was maintained in various ways. The whole city wall looked like it was being demolished and rebuilt from above. I don't know how the demolition is going now.
