Sichuan Jinguang Cave | The Bodhisattva Hall: A Compassionate and Illuminating, a Peaceful Place in the Mountains In the deep valley of Sichuan Jinguang Cave, besides the majestic Nezha Main Hall and the Wangling Palace guarding the mountain gate, lies a gentler and more solemn abode: the Bodhisattva Hall. The Bodhisattva Hall captures the heart not with grandeur but with tranquility. The temple boasts ancient architecture, amidst the curling aroma of incense. The golden statue of the Bodhisattva sits upright on a lotus pedestal, brows lowered, a compassionate and solemn presence, as if listening to the whispers of the mountain's creatures and the hearts of the people. Worshippers here often come with the hope of seeking compassionate protection and family well-being. Unlike Nezha's heroic majesty, the Bodhisattva Hall offers a more gentle and tranquil atmosphere, like an invisible hand soothing the weariness and worldliness of travelers after a long journey.

Sichuan Jinguang Cave | The Main Hall of Nezha Remains Proudly, a Protector of the Young God Entering Sichuan's Jinguang Cave, the most striking feature is the central Nezha Main Hall. The hall is ancient and majestic, surrounded by the whirlwind of incense. The golden statue of the Third Prince Nezha stands proudly, holding a flaming spear and riding a wind-fire wheel, his expression fierce and resolute. Nezha, in his youthful form, embodies the spirit of loyalty, filial piety, and protection of the Dharma. He sacrificed his life for his mother by cutting off his flesh and shaving off his bones for his father, then was reborn through the lotus body created by his master, Taiyi Zhenren, and has since become a young heroic god who protects all living beings. For this reason, believers bow before the hall, praying for peace and protection, but also venerating his fearless courage and unwavering filial piety.

Sichuan Jinguang Cave | A Deep Entrance, a Gateway to Spirituality and Tranquility Amid the vast mountains and forests of Sichuan, the entrance to Jinguang Cave quietly looms. Unassuming from a distance, it looms majestically upon approach, like a natural gateway separating the mundane world from the spiritual realm. Stone steps wind along, flanked by towering ancient trees, their interwoven branches casting dappled shadows. Walking along, only the sound of wind and birdsong fills the air, gradually shutting out the clamor of the mundane world. The vigorous inscription above the door speaks of the reverence and faith of generations of pilgrims. This entrance is more than just a physical gateway; it's a spiritual turning point. Crossing this gate, travelers experience a shift in atmosphere: external restlessness dissipates, and inner awe grows. It's a solemn ritual of "leaving the mundane beneath the mountain and bringing tranquility into the cave."
