Spanish Pyrenees Hike ~ Navarra
Mirador del Alto del Perdón is a place full of history and symbolism, in addition to offering stunning views. To get there, you have to take a narrow road, where, in addition to the scenery, you will find two very interesting elements: a sculpture paying tribute to the pilgrims of the Camino de Santiago and a memorial dedicated to the victims of the Civil War from nearby towns.
Driving there has its limitations as there are no clear parking spaces. You should park your vehicle on the side of the road, making sure not to obstruct the road, although it does not seem to be busy outside of the peak season.
In short, the Alto del Perdón viewpoint combines nature, history and culture, and is a recommended stop, especially for those following the Camino de Santiago route or who want to know more about the area.
