When the ski season comes, the small mountain village becomes lively all of a sudden. It is simple, quaint and fashionable, colliding and integrating with each other. 横竖是二温小迪:“Matterhorn is one of the iconic attractions of Switzerland. You can see the tip of the snow-capped mountain from time to time in the town of Zermatt. You can also go to the town's observation deck to admire the snow-capped mountain. You can also see the golden mountain in the sun at sunset and dusk.
To see the snow-capped mountain up close, you still have to take the gear train to Gornergrat. Generally, you start from Zermatt GBB first, then reach Gornergrat, the highest altitude, where the probability of seeing the Matterhorn is greater, and then go down one stop to Rotenboden to see the reflection, which requires higher weather conditions, and sometimes you have to wait for sunny days. After watching the reflection, you can choose to return by the original route, or continue to play one stop at a time.
It is recommended to check the weather with a local app before departure. Zermatt tickets are not cheap either. The price varies in the off-season and peak season. In early October, it is 114 euros, and the Swiss Pass can be discounted by half.”

Fortunately, the chef was willing to be accommodating and so we all enjoyed a fantastic meal. The prices are slightly outrageous for the tiny portions, but it was all certainly beautiful and delicious. The service was very friendly too.Note on location: the restaurant is inside the W hotel and not easy to find. We didn’t realize this and just used our phone maps to take us to the address which led us down a dark road behind the hotel! It would be nice if one of the dozen emails received for this reservation actually mentioned we needed to enter the W Hotel!”
