Otsuka / Toshikatsudo Ruins Park is a park based on the Yayoi period ruins discovered in the preliminary survey accompanied by the development of Kohoku New Town in the 1940s. At the end of March, I visited six parks in Kohoku New Town with my walking friends. The last time I visited was this park. The Yayoi period ruins were on a small hill near the subway center north station. The ruins were surrounded by moats, and in addition to the ruins that were stored in the state of excavation, there were several restored pit-type residences inside. I was deeply moved to learn that there is such a place in Yokohama that has a long history since the Yayoi period.
