Tianchi

The Tianchi vegetation of Cuihua Mountain is densely covered. Due to the high altitude and the green trees, it is several degrees lower than the city. It is a good place for Xi'an people to spend the summer and escape the heat. It is convenient for transportation and drives directly to Tianchi.

Landslide boulders and Tianchi Lake light blend, green peaks, strange caves, constitute a world wonderland. Local people call it "Tianchi", "Water Dianchi Lake", "Cuihua Lake", "Taiyi Lake", etc. At the source of the upper reaches of the Taiyi River, there is also a lake-Ganzi Lake. Ganzi Lake is located under the Ganzi Peak, with an area of 0.2 square kilometers.

The scenery here is beautiful, elegant and quiet, and the summer is several degrees lower than the city. It is a summer summer resort in the far suburbs of Xi'an. Every year, the Cuihua Temple Fair is held from the first to the third day of the lunar calendar. The visitors are like weaving and it is very lively.

Tianchi is a collapsing stone blocking the Taiyi River Valley horizontally, blocking the river valley water flow and forming a stop lake, people from the bottom up, landing on the lakeside, it seems to be up to the Tianting, which is called Tianchi. Tianchi Lake, about 600 meters long, about 90 － 300 meters wide, water area 13.8 hectares, average water depth 7 meters, summer pool blue waves, cold winter snow cover.

自秦王朝起，这里就已是皇家“上林苑”、“御花园”之地。秦王赢政曾经在次狩猎休闲，汉武帝曾在此设立祭天道场，秦圣宫是唐王李世民避暑消夏行宫。这里被人们视为三秦旅游胜地。1992年批为“终南山国家森林公园”，1997年推荐入“西安旅游十大景”之一。

翠华山有天池堰塞湖、甘湫池堰塞湖和大坪堰塞湖。山崩地质形迹和地貌类型保存齐全，特别是山崩凌空面及冰风洞以北的崩塌石海区由于巨石相互叠置，高低错落，植被茂密，通达性极差，加之石体本身的耐受性，遗迹保存的更加完好。

西安长安区钟南山的翠华山以“终南独秀”和“中国地质地貌博物馆”著称。翠华山旅游景区由碧山湖景区、天池景区和山崩石海景区三部分组成。翠华山原名太乙山，传说有太乙真人在此修炼过，所以得此名。天池是一个堰塞湖。
