Wushan is a severely underestimated place. A friend from Chongqing told me that before the Three Gorges Dam was built, it belonged to Sichuan, but it was not given attention, transportation was very inconvenient, and there was only waterway in and out, so many people have only heard of Wushan but have never been there. After the Three Gorges Dam was built, the old county town of Wushan was flooded, the Three Gorges Hydropower belongs to Wuhan, Hubei, and Wushan still did not get development. Wushan County, located in the northeast of Chongqing, is in the core area of the Three Gorges Reservoir, bordering Hubei. During the Warring States Period, it belonged to the Wu Prefecture of the Chu State, and the Wushan County was established during the reign of Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty, and this name has been used to this day. Why is Wushan severely underestimated? Because its cultural and tourism resources are very rich, it is the core of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. Among them, the Small Three Gorges is the first batch of national 5A scenic spots. In addition, there are Shennv Peak, Shennv Creek, Dachang Ancient Town, Qingshi Ancient Town, Xiazhuan Tianlu and other scenic spots, as well as some places that have not yet been developed. In addition to the beautiful scenery, the food in Wushan is also very good. The most famous is Wushan Grilled Fish, which is the best grilled fish in Chongqing. The taste is very good. Even I, a Guangdong person who doesn't eat spicy food, can't help but keep eating even if it's spicy. Today we took a boat to visit the Small Three Gorges scenic area. The whole journey took four hours. The scenery along the way was magnificent. The river was sometimes wide and sometimes narrow, the mountain top was sometimes waterfall and sometimes cloud and mist, various landscapes came oncoming, it was dazzling, and there were ancient hanging coffins on the stone walls on both sides. You can enjoy the scenery and listen to stories, and the four hours passed without knowing it. The ticket price for the Small Three Gorges cruise is 120 yuan. If you ask me if the ticket price is worth it? I think it's very worth it. You should know that the fare for a four-hour car ride is more than 120 yuan, and the fare for a four-hour high-speed rail is even more expensive. But this 120 yuan cruise can enjoy the scenery all the way, which is pleasing to the eye. Unfortunately, the mobile phone camera can't capture the grandeur of the Small Three Gorges, and the boat is always moving and can't take aerial shots, so you can only enjoy it with your eyes. PS: After visiting the Small Three Gorges, we continued to take a boat to Shennv Creek. Tonight we will stay in a homestay by the river. When we open the window, we can see Shennv Peak. Unfortunately, the top of the peak is always shrouded in clouds and mist. Looking forward to a good weather tomorrow to see the sunrise. PPS: Now the transportation in Wushan is very convenient, not only has it opened up highways, but also high-speed rail and airplanes. It only takes two hours to get here by high-speed rail from Chongqing.
