Visiting Wenchang, in addition to touring the rocket launch base, going to the Huiwen Buddhist bead market to buy star and moon bodhi, you can also take a stroll down Wennan Old Street. The old street is located in the city center, and next to it is the Confucius Temple where you can also visit, enjoying the historic Wennan Old Street and experiencing the local customs and folklore. There are many clothing, shoe, and hat stores on both sides of Wennan Old Street, and there are also snacks for sale on the roadside. Take a walk at the corner of the old street. We also went to a tea restaurant, 'Old Street Chinese and Western Tea Shop,' which is good value for money, with lots of snacks and drinks! This is Wennan Old Street in Wenchang, Hainan. The street was purportedly built in the 1920s with money from the Hainanese that moved overseas, in particular Singapore and Malaysia. Hence, the architecture style of the buildings are a mixture of western and Chinese style, with the feel of shophouses seen in Singapore and Malaysia.
