Bogildo Island

Buji Island is 12km away from Wando International Port. Earlier, on the way to Jeju Island by boat, Gushan Yin Shandao landed here in order to avoid the typhoon, but was attracted by the charm of the beautiful landscape, and later named it Furongdong and decided to stay. During his 10-year stay, he built 25 buildings such as Xiran Pavilion and Le Shuzhai, enjoying rural life. The famous "Four Seasons of Fishermen" was also born here. There are three beaches with silver sand or reeds spread on the island, and they are popular as summer resorts. Among them, Yesong-ri Beach on the south side of the island has no sand and is paved with gravel within a range of 1.4㎞, and it is more beautiful in harmony with the evergreen forest of Yesong-ri, a natural monument No. 40. The lush subtropical plants and the transparent sea are mysteriously combined, especially the sea route to Puji Island has large and small islands, like a landscape painting.
