Probably the best view of the city

The fortezza is more of a scovola gathering place, than a historic place of Urbino. The best views of the city are probably from here. Nice views of neighboring hills too.

Cardinal Albornoz was responsible for the construction of many fortresses,built NOT to protect the citizens of the towns,but to dominate them! When possible they were battered down, leaving the stones...

Do not bother

We paid to enter the fortress, Very,very little to see inside and the view from the top was barely an improvement on the view from the park outside. A complete waste of money.
