Walked right by it a few times
It is just a granite block located off to the side of the walk way. Walked by it a few times on my way to the Imperial Palace. Wasn't sure what is was since I don't read Japanese writing. Finding ...
The founder of Nippon Dental University is the dentist Ichigoro Nakahara.

We will disseminate information about "Monument of the birthplace of Nippon Dental University" in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku. I visited "Monument of the birthplace of Nippon Dental University" on August 19, 2023. To access the "Monument of the birthplace of Nippon Dental University", take the C11 exit of the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line, Tozai Line, Marunouchi Line, Hanzomon Line, and Otemachi Station on the Toei Mita Line and proceed to the right direction toward the Imperial Palace. When you go about 30 m, there is a signal (display name "Otemachi"), and ... of the "Otemachi first square" building on the right hand.
This is located at the intersection where Hibiya-dori and Eiyo-dori cross (in front of the building called Otemachi First Square). It is said that Nippon Dental University was founded in this area as a "private Kyoritsu Dental School" in 1890 by dentist Ichigoro Nakahara.
It was near the Otemachi intersection. There was an explanation that Nippon Dental University was the first dental school in Japan. I thought it was a historic university.
It is now the birthplace of Nippon Dental University in Iidabashi. A stone monument was quietly built on the side of the road under construction. Since the first dentist in Japan was born in the early Meiji period, the law was enacted, and it took more than 30 years to build this school. It is an indispensable tooth for a healthy life, but unlike the medicine that is related to life and death, it may have been difficult to be recognized.

Silently on the side of the road.
