    Old Tokaido along いの

    Original Text

It is a square along the old Tokaido. It seems that it was developed to make use of history and culture as part of the project to improve the area around the old Shinagawa-juku.

A resting place when you are tired of walking

    Original Text

In the old Shinagawa-juku, small pine trees donated from each post town on the Tokaido are planted in a corner of an apartment or a store. It seems that one of them was built using the Kaido pine donated by the former Hamamatsu-juku. Originally, there was a drastic plan to connect the post town of Tokaido with Kaido Matsu, and it is being promoted because it coincided with the town development project in Shinagawa Ward. It is used as a small resting place.
