Old Tokaido along いの
Original Text
It is a square along the old Tokaido. It seems that it was developed to make use of history and culture as part of the project to improve the area around the old Shinagawa-juku.
At Shinagawa-juku, various measures are being taken to revive the atmosphere of the Edo period, centering on the Town Development Council, regarding the cityscape of the former Tokaido, one of which is planting pine trees on the highway. It is trying to create the remnants of that time. A magnificent pine donated by Hamamatsu-juku is planted in this highway pine square. Even if it is impossible to regain the atmosphere of many highway pine trees, you can imagine the old Tokaido at that time with just one pine tree. The park itself has a clock, so it's already ...
When I stayed at the Tokyo Marriott Hotel, I stopped by while walking around the former Shinagawa-juku area for a morning walk. It's now a small park with a magnificent pine tree at the entrance.
In the old Shinagawa-juku, small pine trees donated from each post town on the Tokaido are planted in a corner of an apartment or a store. It seems that one of them was built using the Kaido pine donated by the former Hamamatsu-juku. It is used as a small resting place.

Song one.
I wondered if there was a row of pine trees, but there was only one big pine standing at the entrance. However, the pine is magnificent.
A fine pine.
