I visited "Toyotamahime Shrine", the guardian deity of Ogijima. The view of the Seto Inland Sea from here was superb. The slope down from Toyotamahime Shrine to Ogishima Port enjoyed the best view of the quiet Seto Inland Sea. Toyotamahime Shrine is also located in Kagoshima and Saga in Kyushu. In the Seto Inland Sea, it is located on Toshima and this Ogishima. Toyotamahime is a god of easy delivery, so it is enshrined in various parts of Japan.

　If you look toward the island from the ferry terminal, you will find a torii gate. The approach continues from the torii gate to the shrine, so if you climb straight, you won't get lost. In fact, I climbed properly, so I took a detour. At first, the name of the shrine was Yutaka, so I was surprised that it was a shrine that enshrined "Toyo" that leads to "Himiko". Also, I didn't expect it to remind me of the legend of Yukihiko Umikoyama and the story of the fishing needle. ...
