Twin Pagoda Park in Taiyuan
The Twin Pagoda Park project is located to the west of the East Central Ring Road, to the east of Shuangta North Road, to the north of South Inner Ring East Street, and to the south of the South Sha River Expressway. The total construction area of the park is 89.6 hectares. The construction of the park is based on the principle of inheriting historical culture, firming cultural confidence, and promoting red culture. It starts with the reconstruction of the ancient 'Twin Pagodas Soaring into the Sky', one of the eight scenic spots of old Jinyang, adhering to the concept of building a park for residents, culture, and ecology, and construction began in May 2020. The completion of the park has ended the history of the eastern part of Taiyuan city having no comprehensive parks and many years of no improvement and protection of the surrounding environment of the Twin Pagoda Temple.
The Twin Pagoda Park revolves around three major functional areas: Yongzuo Temple, the revolutionary history memorial area, and the comprehensive park. With the theme of 'learning history, strengthening beliefs, receiving education, and appreciating beautiful scenery', it aims to create a grand Twin Pagoda scene that is learnable, viewable, walkable, and enjoyable. The Yongzuo Temple within the park has a history of more than four hundred years and is a symbol of Taiyuan's cultural endeavors. The twin pagodas in the temple stand tall and are a symbol of the charming Dragon City.
The investment is large, the layout is very good, the management is great, and the evaluation is very high. Personal suggestion: the two rows of ginkgo trees in the south gate of the park should be removed. From the outside of the park, it will affect the entire picture of the twin towers and the bridge gate building.
It is a huge free city park, and the twin towers museums are charged 30 yuan per person separately.
The area is large and the scenery is good. The park is free. Only the Twin Towers Museum charges 30 yuan.
Combining the original single twin tower temples together, it is more cultural.
A scenic spot in Taiyuan, Shanxi, personally feels that it looks good.
