First time to Sydney and it was a short stay. It was still winter season around August 2023. Me and my friend decide to explore the city. We took the tram have our meal in the city then slow walk to Sydney Opera House. I would say it is a romantic city. Nice weather, nice people and chill ambiance. There were a lot of people but we manage to take some nice photos. Will definitely come back again.

Traveling to Sydney, Australia in June, I caught the 2024 Sydney Light Festival (vivid sydney), with lights twinkling every night, music, art, vitality, and creativity making Sydney very lively. Light Festival dates: May 24 - June 15, for a continuous 23 days. Places where you can watch the light show: Lighting of the Sails Sydney Opera House Gumscape with Road and Creatures Next to Circular Quay Hika Rakuyo Darling Harbour Sea, Sand and Stars The Rocks Faces of Change Harbour Bridge There are drone shows on June 8, 9, and 15, from 21:10 to 21:20 Remember to arrive 1-2 hours early, You can find some off-the-beaten-path spots that are less crowded and better for taking photos. I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel, where I could see some angles, and dining at the top floor of the InterContinental Hotel also offered some nice views.

The view are spectacular as it is surrounded by the sea, many giant ships easily sight here as well which is something different than the usual. Apart for sight seeing, it’s super convenient to get a bite as well because many restaurants were available in the area. It will be busy during the day but in early morning it was less crowded.

It's always worth waking up early to catch sunrise at Opera House. This spot is really close to one of the luxury holiday hotels in Circular Quay, so all you have to do is step out to your balcony and see this amazing view.
