There are many monuments in Suzhou Confucian Temple, especially the four Song monuments of "Pingjiang Tu", "Astronomical Tu", "View Geographical Tu" and "Emperor Shaoyun Tu" are the most famous. They were originally placed in Dacheng Temple and have now been transferred to the side of the palace in the chamber for special protection.
The existing buildings of the Confucian Temple are mostly rebuilt in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the pattern of the East Temple is Western. The East Temple has Anus, Krypton Gate, Dacheng Temple and Chongsheng Temple. The system of left temple and right school is observed in all places until the end of the Qing Dynasty, so there is the saying that "the world has learned from Wujun", which is now used as the Suzhou Stele Inscription Museum, and is a key cultural relics protection unit in the country.
Suzhou Confucian Temple is located on Renmin Road, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. Suzhou Confucian Temple was founded by the famous Northern Song Dynasty Fan Zhongyan in Jingyou in 1035, and has a history of more than 980 years. Fan Zhongyan took office the following year in Suzhou Zhizhou, and set up a temple on the site of the South Park. Fan Zhongyan hired Hu Yan, a famous educator at the time, as a professor, because he was well-known for running the school, and became a model for state and county schools to follow suit. After that, he has been expanded and built, and the scale of the temple to the Ming and Qing dynasties was very large, covering an area of nearly 200 mu. The current area is only one-sixth of the time, and the important buildings that have been retained are the Krypton Gate, the Krypton Gate, the Dacheng Palace, the Chongsheng Temple, the Seven Star Pool, and the Minglun Hall.
