Cambodia, an ancient civilization with a rich history.
Cambodia is an ancient civilization with a long history, having established a unified kingdom as early as the 1st century AD.
[Angkor Wat]Angkor Wat is located in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia, about 240 kilometers from the capital Phnom Penh. It is a symbol of the Cambodian nation and is known as one of the four wonders of the East. The existing Angkor Wat mainly includes the Angkor Thom (Great Angkor) and the Angkor Wat (Little Angkor). There are more than 600 existing Angkor Wat sites, scattered in the forest covering an area of 45 square kilometers. The Great Angkor and the Little Angkor are its main components, with many exquisite Buddhist pagodas and numerous stone carvings, which are spectacular. These Buddhist pagodas are all built with huge stones, some of which weigh more than 8 tons. The pagodas are carved with various forms of statues, some of which are several meters high and vividly lifelike.
In 1992, the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO listed the entire Angkor site as a world cultural heritage.
[Royal Palace of Phnom Penh]The Royal Palace of Phnom Penh, also known as the Grand Palace of Four Arms Bay, is named after its location at the confluence of the Upper Mekong River, Tonle Sap River, Lower Mekong River and Bassac River. It was built by King Norodom from 1866 to 1870. The palace is rectangular, 435 meters long and 402 meters wide, with outer walls. The architecture of the palace has Khmer traditional style and religious color. The palaces all have spires, representing prosperity. The palace buildings are painted in yellow and white, with yellow representing Buddhism and white representing Brahmanism. The palace was originally made of wood, but was later rebuilt with cement structure while maintaining its original appearance.
[Tashan]Tashan, also known as Tazai Mountain, has a small mountain body and is the birthplace of Phnom Penh. According to legend, a woman named "Ben" in ancient times drifted here due to a flood and found a Buddha statue, which was enshrined on a small hill. Later, a temple was built here, and believers and pilgrims came in droves, gradually developing into a prosperous town, named "Bainangben", meaning "Lady Ben's Mountain", which was translated by local overseas Chinese as "Phnom Penh". Tashan is about 100 meters high, with a statue of Lady Ben on the top of the tower, and incense burning all day long, making it one of the symbols of Phnom Penh.
Awe-inspiring, mesmerizing, mesteriou. How did they do it? Really worth going on a temole tour. Quality over quantity or you will very quickly get templed-out. I went to Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm and Bayon, all 3 very different, eqch with.their own unique charm and beauty.
Be sure to buy online in advance, the on-site ticket office is not at the gate of the scenic spot, wasting time. Many attractions have to be checked. European and American tourists are basically physical tickets, hanging on their necks, indicating that travel online shopping is not developed there.

Angkor Wat, originally known as "Vishnu Temple", is a Hindu temple, built by Khmer King Suliya Samoa II (in power from 1113 to 1150) for the worship of Vishnu, after more than 30 years of careful work, is a representative of Cambodia's ancient architectural style, but also Cambodia's national treasure. Angkor Wat is the most well-preserved temple in Angkor monuments. It combines the two basic layouts of the altar and corridor in the architecture of the Khmer temples. It is famous for its magnificent architecture and exquisite reliefs, reaching the peak of Khmer classical architecture art. Its shape has been painted on the national flag as a national symbol of Cambodia and was included in the World Heritage Site in 1992.
