1) SHIMLA and perhaps a lot of Indian "well-known" hill stations are OVER-RATED. They are also hot in the summer. Check before going. DO NOT GO JUST BECAUSE IT's VERY HOT IN THE PLAINS AND YOU WILL GE...

Don't go here at summer time. First they convince you to buy tickets for 1000 each person and say it will be a lot of fun. After you go there nobody is there to listen you. There are no safety measure...
