Not many visitors here as it is quite far away from the train station. We booked a taxi which took us to visit the water wheel and the Sada bridge , costing us 17,800 yen. Looking down at the river, w...
'sinking bridge' built on the Shimanto gawa River in Kochi Prefecture. It is a bridge without a balustrade designed to sink into the river when the water rises, and it is a sightseeing spot of the bridge where you can enjoy the emotional scenery that you can hardly see anywhere else. I visited some of the many subsidence bridges. Among them, this is "Sanri subsidence bridge". Construction: Showa 38 (1963) Total length: 145.8m Width: 3.3m Transportation: For cars, ... from Nakamura Station.
After driving on a road that is unlikely to pass each other from the Sata Subsidence Bridge for a few minutes, you will arrive at the subsidence bridge over the clear stream where no one is there. The quiet bridge has a taste, but is narrower than the Sata Bridge. I was able to leave my luck to the rental car Yaris and cross it safely. A small Benz came, but I made a U-turn without crossing the bridge and returned.
It is further back to the sinking bridge in Sada, up the narrow mountain road. You can walk from the parking lot (2.3 minutes) to the river and go to the sinking bridge. There are few people and you can get down to the river and look at the sinking bridge. The children seemed to have fun going into the river and throwing stones and finding fish. If you want to take a picture of a houseboat passing under the bridge, I think you can take a beautiful picture here.
Had a good walk

Must Visit
We weren't sure where to park, so we just parked nearby & quickly walk to the bridge to admire the beauty of the Bridge & its surrounding.
