Xianju Rock Taoist Temple

Xianjuyan Taoist Temple: Located in Danxia Mountain Scenic Area, Renhua County, Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, not far from Xianglong Lake. The Taoist Temple is built on the cliff rocks. The huge rock Taoist Temple is unique and like a fairyland. It is said that this place was once Zhang Tianshi's south tour where he lived, and the latter built this Taoist view to commemorate Zhang Tianshi.

仙居岩道观是张天师南游时居住的地方，位于韶关丹霞山里面。后人为纪念张天师降白虎，救青龙的恩德，便在此建庙，供于香火。据说原有道观三间，道房五间，水池一口，其基础保存至今。仙居岩面向西北，为后天八卦之乾位，左前方为九龙峰，后依八卦顶绝壁，前有芭蕉冲谷，环境封闭幽静，乃凡尘不染之地。大殿凌空飞架，气势夺人。在此修炼，可远避法器，早日得道。芭蕉冲又称真仙谷。一路奇石异洞，尤其洞前一片芭蕉林，相传为古代道士所植，蕉林正置崖下，崖顶四季飞雨飘洒，自成天然奇景，雨打芭蕉，别具岭南情趣。
