Closed on Saturdays!
How disappointing to find what should be a tourist attraction is closed on Saturdays. The neighborhood is a bit shabby, dangerous sidewalks. Near the pyramid.
How disappointing to find what should be a tourist attraction is closed on Saturdays. The neighborhood is a bit shabby, dangerous sidewalks. Near the pyramid.
Years later, I still have images of the amazing birds--a spoonbill--from this museum. It is off the beaten path, so all the better to enjoy. Lots of wonderful local natural history to see.

This is a museum with displays in the traditional style- wood and glass cases with typed identification cards. That being said, it was not a boring museum. We particularly liked the bird and mammal ex...

if you are a birder, this is a must!
