Gangnan Reservoir

Gangnan Reservoir is located on the main stream of the Weihe River near Gangnan Town, Pingshan County, Hebei Province, 58 kilometers from Shijiazhuang, the provincial capital. It is an important large-scale water conservancy hub project in the middle and lower reaches of the Weihe River in the Ziya River water system of the Haihe River Basin. The Weihe River project was built in March 1958 and completed in 1962. Control the area of the basin 1.59 10,000 square kilometers, accounting for about 68% of the area of the river and mountain areas.

The Gangnan Reservoir, located on the west baipo of Pingshan, Hebei Province, is like a jasper set between the continuous mountains, warm and full of spirit. This is the largest reservoir in Hebei Province. Under the reservoir, there is also a small mountain village built in the Tang Dynasty. The reservoir has beautiful scenery and pleasant scenery.

This is a reservoir next to the revolutionary holy site of Xibaipo. It covers a very large area. The water surface in winter is frozen. From a distance, I feel that the view is very wide. I don't know what the scenery is in summer.

Staying at Xibaipo Red Bay Hotel, overlooking Gangnan Reservoir, amazing! So I drove down the road from the nearby village to the bank of the reservoir and took the children to play for a while. The reservoir is beautiful, tiles and blues, but after approaching, I found that the water quality was still smelly.
