St Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral

I visited the cathedral, which is said to be the most beautiful in Russia and abroad on Easter Day. Surprisingly, there were fewer Russians and more tourists.

St. Nicholas Orthodox Church is the most important and oldest church of its kind outside Russia. The church, built by Tsar Nicholas II in 1912, is magnificent, covered with red brick, light gray marble and colorful ceramic tiles, and six onion domes are a feature of its architecture. We walked past the city center, but the scenery along the road was average, a bit like a third-tier city, just went there to see the church.

Although the onion heads have been seen in Russia, there is no urge to look at the onion heads that grow in France. There are so many places to visit in Nice that even sitting in a daze is not a waste of time, I saw this onion 5 kilometers back from Nice. This is an Orthodox church with a gorgeous exterior and exquisite structure, not particularly spectacular and more similar to the exquisite and beautiful style of the "Golden Ring Town".

The Russian Orthodox Church St. Nicholas Cathedral is a cathedral of the Russian Orthodox Church, funded by Czar Nicholas II. The opening time of the Cathedral is from June to September (9:00 to 12:00, 14:30 to 18:00), but it is also very delicate. It is decorated with many holy statues, murals, carved wooden wallboards and holy image screens made of embossed and carved metal. There are no photographs in the cathedral. 。

Nice's Russian Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas is Nice's most beautiful church. His five green onions on the roof are his biggest symbol. The frescoes inside the church are also very beautiful and colourful. He is the most outstanding Orthodox Church in France and is definitely worth visiting.
