Catholic Chikaramachi Church

The main tax town Catholic Church, also known as the Church of Our Lady, was established in Meiji 20 (1887), where the first French missionary came to preach, and the priest who succeeded him in Meiji 37 (1904) was here built this church. Tangible cultural properties and important urban landscapes in the church include the main church, the priest's hall, the believer's hall, the bell tower, the brick wall, and the statue of St. Mary, most of which were founded in the Meiji era.
