Endo Shusaku Literary Museum

Born in Tokyo in 1923, Mr. Endo, who was baptized by the Roman Catholic Church at the age of 11, devoted his life to the study of Japanese spiritual culture and Christian issues. The exhibition room displays the desk that Mr. Endo used during his lifetime, as well as precious relics such as original manuscripts and pen and ink utensils. His main works include "Silence" and "The Life of Jesus". Waikai used to be the hometown of Catholicism, and later became the stage for the masterpiece "Silence" by Mr. Endo Shusaku, and because Mr. Endo himself liked the landscape of Waikai very much, he established the venue in May 2000 with the assistance of Mrs. Endo Shusaku. Endo Shusaku Literature Museum. The Literature Museum is built on a high hill, where you can overlook the calm sea of Jiaoli Beach. There are more than 25,000 materials related to Mr. Endo's life and footprints, as well as exhibits related to Endo literature.
