I think it's better to park in Morikaetsu Park.
Original Text
Located on a narrow road in a residential area, there is Morikai Utaki and the stairs that go down next to it. There is no place to park on a narrow road, so I think it's a good idea to park your car in the parking lot of Morikaetsu Park and walk. It is near the NTT West building. When you go down the stairs, it is cool air, and the actual well seems to be further below, but it is pitch black and the feet are not maintained, so you need light even in the daytime. After seeing the well, we will visit the Mitake next door.
I went to June 2017. It is located in a difficult-to-understand location in a residential area on Miyakojima. I set my address on the navigation system. When you go closer, you will see a small sign and enter a narrow road. It is an old well used in the past beside Utaki. Go down the dense and grassy stairs. Since it is not well maintained, you need to be careful not to slip down the stairs while fighting spider webs and mosquito hordes. ... in a residential area
and i thought it was the name of the famous burial object in miyakojima for a moment. (laughter)

It is one of the wells that I mistakenly thought that there is also Morikai following Yamatoi. It's hard to understand because it's a little far from the center of Taira, but it was relatively easy to understand if you look at the local guide booklet. "Morikai" is an old well read as "Muikaga". There was Morikai Utaki right next to it, and Morikai was a fairly large well. It was just down a decent number of stone steps.
It seems to be read as Muikaga. It's not a tourist spot, but I think it's good for those who want to know the history of Miyako. If you go down the stairs, you can go to a place with a well, but it takes a little courage in the atmosphere.
