MACAU HAS FINALLY RELAXED ITS ENTRY REQUIREMENTS WOOHOOO (no quarantine and no PCR tests!!) Since both operators (Turbojet and Cotai) are operating at a reduced capacity, there are much less ferry to and fro; do try to get tickets online to skip the queue at the counter!! I made the mistake of not booking in advance and tickets for the 9:30 am ferry were sold out when it was my turn to purchase tickets (had to then purchase tickets of a more exp class…) 😅😰 My friend and I decided to travel on the 5th day of CNY so it was a bit crowded. When we reached, we hopped on a free shuttle bus that brings us to the Parisian. We walked around, took pictures and then we slowly moved towards the 官也街 direction for food!!! We ate 水蟹粥 (crab congee) @ Seng Cheong and pork chop bun @ Mr K, both were good and decently priced!! After we were done with Taipa, we hopped on another free shuttle bus by Galaxy and we moved our way towards Macau. (Macau is pretty small so you can get around not taking the paid public transport and just rely on the hotel shuttle bus.) I've summarized the photo-taking formula for going out as Natural + Atmospheric + Don't focus on the face! With a nice filter, taking good photos really becomes easier! 1️⃣ Ruins of St. Paul's Ruins of St. Paul's Archway The iconic Ruins of St. Paul's in Macau, to avoid a crowded shot, you must go at night! Find the steps and flowerbeds at the Ruins of St. Paul's, place the camera low and shoot from above, casually play with your phone or enjoy the scenery, the photos will turn out super natural and beautiful. 2️⃣ Grand Lisboa Grand Lisboa Hotel If you're staying on Macau Island, don't miss this spot! It's just a little way inside the alley next to the 7-11 opposite the Grand Emperor Hotel, and you can see the Grand Lisboa. Stand by the roadside looking at or away from the camera, the atmosphere is super strong! I took photos here during the day and at night, and personally, I prefer the night shot. 3️⃣ Eiffel Tower at The Parisian The best spot is in the park next to The Londoner!
