This animal sanctuary next to Denver Airport is highly recommended. It is located in the center of Denver Airport and downtown Denver. The park was once the base, and then changed to the current animal sanctuary due to the threat to the animal living area. You can open to the visitor center to get a map, stroll around the animal introduction, and you can see all kinds of animal specimens. The staff of the visitor center are also very enthusiastic and will help introduce the self-driving tour route and the small animals that will be seen in each area.

Saw rattlesnakes, nice trail. Steep inclines, not for everybody. Elevation isn't too drastic here, but you still may need to be prepared. There are plenty of rock climbers to watch. Really nice area. About 8 miles from Boulder. I wouldn't put this in my Top 10 hikes, but it was not hard to find and it is not a difficult area to hike. There are some trails there that are very easy. Views were pretty good towards the top. State Park fee was $9.00 per vehicle. Pretty cheap to have access to a bunch of trails.

[View] The lake is crystal clear, and the green lake is interesting with the forest around the lake. [Fun] But it is not easy to get here, it is more than 10,000 feet above sea level, the trail from Bear lake through Nymph, and Dream three small lakes, all above 9,500 feet above sea level, and you can see the brave climbers on the cliff.

I happened to hit Boyd Lake State Park on a sunny day while the colors were still good. The views are gorgeous - especially if you don't mind heights and can climb a lot of stairs. There is a LOT more to see than just the start of the Mississippi River - though that was great too.

Cherry Creek North It is a great center of outdoor experience. Many local tourists come here with professional equipment. I like it very much. I recommend it here! Self-driving is the most convenient ~
