Sir John Soane's Museum

There are various handicrafts from all over the world. There are Hogas paintings, Greek sculptures, all you can think of, here. Everything is in this wonderful architectural masterpiece. The staff are friendly and welcoming and willing to share their knowledge.

The Sir John & Thorn Museum is located in a beautiful square with a public garden. The tour guide has a comprehensive understanding of the doctor's research topics and many other aspects of Egyptology. He can walk for no more than five minutes from the central line of the Holland Railway Station.

The basement tour of Sir John Thorn Museum is like traveling through the future, using light extraordinarily. The upstairs is more like a traditional gallery with stone sculptures from all over the world, including the sarcophagus of the King of Egypt, set up as it was 200 years ago.

Great architecture, unfortunately quite a few places are not open to the public. You go back to the eighteenth century England to see the beautifully furnished kitchen and Egyptian coffins, or climb upstairs to see a small but reminiscent collection of Hobart paintings. If you are in the area, it is worth a visit.
