Monument of the Martyrdom of Emperor Yongli of the Ming Dynasty

Yongli Emperor Zhu Youxuan was the last Han emperor in China. After the Qing soldiers entered the customs, Wu Sangui strangled Yongli Emperor at Jinlu Temple. Later Cai Wei erected this monument at the Yongli Emperor's residence. You can see it when you pass by.

Ming Yongli Emperor's Office - The forced slope is located on the west side of Wuhua Mountain, the dumpling slope Jinyu Temple, after the victory of the Xinhai Revolution, Cai Yu and others in the name of "three warriors", in the "forced slope" to establish "Ming Yongli Emperor's Office" stone monument. The monument is1.96 meters high,0.725 meters wide, and0.12 meters thick. The inscription is the Zhengxu Yin book. It still exists today and is currently a cultural relics protection unit in Wuhua District.

In the end of the Ming Dynasty, Yongli Emperor led the peasants to rebel against the Qing Dynasty, and finally fled to Myanmar due to infighting, and was later returned to Kunming. It was rumored that Wu Sangui strangled him with a bow string. It was sad that the number of Ming Dynasty was exhausted.

Just next to Kunming Shaolin Temple in Guandu Ancient Town, if you don't pay attention, you may ignore it. I just opened the door in the morning and I went in, and even the lights were turned on by myself. When I visited the second floor, there was a staff member to turn on the computer introduced. Visiting the monument forest is very time-consuming, due to the rush, there is no excessive stay, the management staff are a few elderly.
