This temple is located in Kamakura City, southern Kanagawa Prefecture, and is closely related to the Mito Tokugawa family. The temple was built in 1636, and the princesses of the Mito Tokugawa family have served as abbots for generations. The Buddhist temple, mountain gate, bell tower, ancestral hall, and ancestral hall gate are all designated as important cultural heritage sites of the country.
