Spring in Kotoku-in ; Kamakura Daibutsu

The bronzed Great Buddha of Kamakura or Kamakura Daibutsu dates back to the 13th century = 750 years ago and is the second tallest bronze Buddha in Japan. This iconic statue is designated as the national treasure. How to get there? By train : A 10-minute walk from the Enoshima Electric Railway Hase Station By bus : From JR Kamakura Station East Exit: At Terminal No.1 or 6 take a bus bound for or via "Daibutsu-mae", get off at "Daibutsu-mae", and A 1-minute walk I visited during spring 2023 and you could see some cherry blossom bloom around the statue #winhkflight #daibutsu #kotokuin #kamakura #thegreatbuddha
