Dehang Canyon

Deqi Grand Canyon is located in Aizhai Town, Jishou City, Xiangxi Prefecture, Hunan Province, with an area of about 108 square kilometers, is a typical stone in the karst canyon landform, rich in paleobiological fossils, and unique Aizhai Bridge, mysterious Miao Village architecture, forming a strong style. The main attractions are the wonders of Aizhai Highway, the world's first suspension bridge (world famous), canyons, waterfalls, national parks, etc. The visitor center has a shuttle bus to the bridge viewing platform, and the viewing platform has an elevator to the bridge support layer (walkway) to visit, overlooking the Grand Canyon scenery.

I travel a lot through China but I rarely feel compelled to write reviews for places I visit, but I need to make an exception for Dehang Canyon. It's a remarkably underrated and sparsely visited spot, despite absolutely amazing views and scenery from being in the cloud soaked canyon. We stayed in the village for two nights and it was such a relaxing break away from the city. The waterfalls were incredible and there were only about 6 other people there. Personally I would rather have the peacefulness of visiting a gorgeous place than being rammed in with other tourists like with Zhangjiajie up the road. the scenery is almost as good here. Also the Miao Village felt authentic in parts. The quality of food was decent in different spots in the village, especially with the vegetables and 土鸡。 I couldn't recommend highly enough coming here.

Deqi Grand Canyon (5A) is located in Aizhai, Hunan Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, located in the middle section of Wuling Grand Canyon formed by the intersection of Yungui Plateau and Wuling Mountains. Every year, the Miao folk folk activities such as the 100 lions, the Miao year, the Miao year, the April 8th, the March 3 song, the autumn, the solitaire, the spiniferous cattle and so on are held regularly; Blowing drums, barring toasts, love songs across the mountains and other simple paintings are everywhere. Tian asked the Taiwan, it is rumored that the reason for the three doctors of Chuguo was to recognize the law, to give merit and teach energy, and to reform politics and be exiled from Jiangnan by Zilan, Yuan Shang and other people. After all the Xiangyu, Xiangxi came here and lived in a temple on the mountain. And write here the immortal poem "Tianwen", so it is called "Tianwentai". Raiders traffic: 24 kilometers from Jishou City, self-driving, public transportation are convenient, national road mountain road taboo night. Attractions: There are Deyu Miao Village and two tributary canyons in the scenic area, a total length of 7 kilometers, and the terrain of Jiulongxi is flat; Yuquanxi to reach Tianwentai, it takes an hour to walk a steep mountain road, and take the shuttle bus to the front door of the back door "Aizhai Wonder". The elderly can choose the "Aizhai Wonder" to enter the mountain road, and then take the shuttle bus back to the back door of the "Dexu Grand Canyon" front door. The Aizhai Bridge outside the scenic spot can be walked through and bungee jumping; old drivers can experience the self-driving Aizhai Highway. Ticket price: 80 yuan a day is valid, veterans' preferential treatment license is free, and three parking lots at the door are free. Two tributary canyon tour buses are sent to the edge of the main scenic spot at their own expense, and the shuttle bus at the two gates of the scenic spot is 25 yuan. Food and lodging: There are many homestays in Miao Village, convenient accommodation and simple folk customs and fair prices. Time: 4-6 hours. There are Miao performances in May-November.

A niche 5A-level scenic spot, cost-effective, the scenery is also beautiful, it is a bit laborious, it is recommended to stay in the scenic spot for one night and two days to travel a little easier.
