Jishou's Sun Family Mansion at Mane'ao

The old Sun family house at Mane'ao is located by the road, with the owner named Qingchen, a native of Magpie Camp, a prominent merchant in the remote countryside, owning thousands of acres of fertile land, and known for his generosity and philanthropy. It is said that in the past, the Xiao family of Qianzhou, the Deng family from the local area, the Hong family from the small creek, and the Sun family from Magpie Camp were collectively known as the four great mansions of Qianzhou Prefecture. The descendants of the old house do not live inside; instead, they built wooden houses next to the old walls, and behind the wooden houses, there are brick houses. The old house now only serves as a passageway and storage rooms. The plaque above the main entrance is covered by a red star, with the writing blurred, only the first character 'Fu' (wealth) and the third character 'Shi' (generation) are recognizable, not knowing what auspicious phrase it represents. Step into the house, and you are greeted by the 'Wanfu' (ten thousand blessings) overhead, with three courtyards arranged in the shape of the Chinese character '品', and six doors on each side room, all meticulously designed with decorative lattices.
