Tanot Mata temple is situated near Longewal border in Jaisalmer. During the 1971 war with Pakistan, the Indian army soldiers took the divine blessings of Tanot Rai Mata and emerged victorious against the heavily populated Pakistani army. The temple is very popular amongst the locals and is manages by the BSF to a large extent. It is a must visit and once can feel the vibe when you visit.
