🏰 Jaisalmer Fort situated in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan is believed to be one of the very few "living forts" in the world. Built in 1156 AD, the fort is also known as the Golden Fort or Sonar Quila due to its yellow sandstone camouflaged as gold during the day when the sun hits the beautiful walls of the fort. 🚖 Getting There - It is quite near to the Jaisalmer city centre, about 20mins by car. ⚡️ Attractions - Each and every corners of the fort are breathtakingly beautiful. Climb the steps of the fort to discover the historical moments and memories and reach the top of the fort to see the whole Jaisalmer city. 🏨 Hotels - There are inside the fort as well.
