It is the oldest existing wooden pseudo-Western-style elementary school building in Japan and is designated as a national historic site. It's a cool building. Unfortunately, the museum was closed because the visit day was Monday. From the instruction manual, this is the oldest existing wooden pseudo-Western-style elementary school building built in Meiji ８ year. I was on my way to Mitsuke Tenjin. It seems to be free.
