Woniu Mountain

Huailai Woniushan Tourist Area is located by the Guanting Lake in Huailai County. It is the ruins of the East Gate of the ancient city of Huailai. It is known as the "Four Scenic Spots" in history. Woniu Mountain is one of the four small wonders in the Huailai Basin. It has four distinct seasons, pleasant climate and fresh and pure air. In summer, the breeze is gentle and cool, which is an excellent place to escape the heat; in winter, ice skating, fence climbing, ice lanterns and other projects can be carried out on the large ice surface of the lake. There is also the "August 1" Film Studio photography base in the Woniu Mountain tourist area, where revolutionary historical blockbusters such as "Armageddon", "The Great Turning Point" and "Advance to the Southwest" were shot here. There are rich historical relics during the Revolutionary War, such as the battlefield of the Battle of Pingjinzhang "Xinbaoan Ancient City" around the Woniushan Tourist Area.
